The rolling pin is six inches long by one inch thick and is made from non stick polypropylene. I have used many different types of rolling pins in the years that I have been making cold porcelain and fimo flowers and this pin is the best of any I have used - a thinner rolling pin makes 'dents' when you roll with it but this size of pin does not. A very useful addition to making flowers and leaves from fimo or cold porcelain
